Job Description

Why this job exists

Data is at the heart of everything we do at La Vie. The data analyst will play a key role in empowering our teams with actionable insights, helping us optimize performance across business units. This role requires strong autonomy, a business-centric mindset, and the ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations. We already have a sophisticated setup in place that you will have to maintain and grow.

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong analytical, project management, and light engineering skills to drive data initiatives, optimize reporting, and lead data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain dashboards for clear, actionable insights.

  • Analyze and model data to support key business decisions (forecasting, performance tracking, optimization).

  • Automate and optimize data flows to ensure reliability and scalability.

  • Lead data projects: manage forecasting models, oversee the data stack, and coordinate with data engineers.

  • Bridge the gap between data and business by translating business needs into actionable insights.

Preferred Experience

  • SQL (advanced) – data transformation and structuring.

  • Python (pandas, NumPy) – data manipulation and analysis.

  • BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase).

  • Data pipeline management: dbt, Airflow, or similar.

  • Experience managing data projects and collaborating with engineers.

  • Strong business acumen and communication skills.

  • Fluent in French and English (La Vie’s internal language).
